14" iBook G3 LCD as VGA monitor?
I have dead ibook and a half dead imac g3. The display is perfect in the ibook (14") and the imac needs some work. I may put a mac mini inside if the board is bad, or even an old amd-based athlon xp machine.
So can I repurpose this lcd? is there some sort of rewiring I could do or do I need to get a special board for it? how much would that cost? Thanks! I'm not sure the ibook is lvds.. but here's a cheap ebay controller: http://cgi.ebay.com/5251-Audio-LCD-C...ht_6671wt_1141 ~40 shipped
