Hey all, does anyone have any recommendations on good value software to help me clean up my iTunes library?

Clean up as in:
1. Kill the dead links.
2. Make sure the music is properly attributed to the correct artist.
3. Make sure the music is labeled as the correct version.
4. Identify unidentified songs.
5. Fill in the artwork and correct artwork on my existing songs.

For album art, I prefer manually adding higher quality artwork from sites such as Album Art Exchange.

Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes is a great resource for managing your iTunes tags and files.

Here are a few scripts that I've found particularly useful:

Also, know that for iTunes to sort albums together properly, all tracks of an album must have identical information in the following fields:
  • Album
  • Album Artist
  • Sort Album
  • Sort Album Artist
