graphicconverter bundled with macs

Hey ya'll,

For the people who recently bought macs, did it come with a lisenced version of graphicconverter? if so, what version? Mine came with a lisenced copy of graphicconverter when i bought my mac before summer. Is the lisence good for updates? Or would I have to register and pay for another lisence to get the latest version of graphicconverter? Thanks
