HDMI -> Receiver -> TV

Anyone try this setup out with 1080p movie yet. Running the audio and Video into the receive and then into the TV. Like to know if this works.

Don't see why it wouldn't work. It acts the same as any HDMI source.

had trouble wit my MBA when running through the receiver. Worked just through the TV didn't like the double hop from receiver then the TV..

That might be because of your DP adapter. There are a lot of issues that I have read on those guys.

We had a demo of the iPad HDMI adapter at our fiscal meeting a couple of days ago, and it was plugged in through a Denon receiver. It worked fine to my knowledge.

I have watched a movie run through the receiver and into the tv. It worked fine
