Apple today released Mac OS X 10.6.7, the seventh maintenance update for Snow Leopard, via Software Update. The update offers a number of fixes implemented since the release of Mac OS X 10.6.6 in early January.
The 10.6.7 Update is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Snow Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac, including fixes that:

- Improve the reliability of Back to My Mac
- Resolve an issue when transferring files to certain SMB servers
- Address various minor Mac App Store bugs

The updates don't say anything about the graphical driver updates that were previous builds had included. I hope it's still there. Although looking at the slow download rate I'd say the amount of people updating is eating some major bandwidth which is to be expected.

389.3 megs here too for my 13" i5... Looks like Apple gonna love us long time.

In before the masses, going to take 4minutes.

I hope but doubt this will fix my wi-fi issues my windows computers work fine but my macbook and iPhone wont work properly over wi-fi.:(

- Resolves an issue in which clicking the Updates tab in the Mac App Store could cause the Mac App Store to become unresponsive.
- Fixes a problem opening an afp:// URL that points to a file, and changes the AFP mount path to conform to previous Mac OS X releases. For details, see article HT4538.
- Includes the ability to repair certain issues that may prevent hardware RAID volumes from mounting. For more information, see article TS3631.
- Fixes a rare issue in Mac OS X v10.6.5 that could cause user accounts to disappear from the Login window and System Preferences after putting the system to sleep.
- Improves the reliability of dragging files or folders to the Trash when using an NFS home directory.

Funny, when I first started to download this is was estimated at 3 minutes.... Then the masses found out and now its estimating 2 hours.. ouch!


Can someone un-inform the masses? I'd like to finish my download.

What's the story with the separate security update? Are those security updates also included in 10.6.7? Why would one want to apply the security update and not the main update?

Doesn't appear to be any TRIM support in 10.6.7?

Just installed, still says TRIM: no

It's included in the update. Security update notes are usually put on a secondary page.
