Hello,

Does anyone else have an issue with a Xbox 360 on an extended airport extreme and airport express network?

Network settings:
Airport Extreme as initial broadcast (set in wireless radio 802a/n - 802.11b/g)
airport express is repeating signal and on other side of the house.
Xbox is somewhere in the middle of the two; probably using the ap exp for more coverage.
Xbox has an error message "multiple networks of the same name detected"

Other devices connected not having issue:
Blackberry, MyTouch, 2 MBP's, Windows Notebook, PS3, DirecTV receiver, 802 Printer.

Trying to avoid the option of getting another airport express to set up as a bridge. Should i be doing something in Access Control?

Thank you for your help.

I don't have an extended wireless network for my XBox but I do connect to it wirelessly with my AEBS. Since your's sees multiple networks, is there a way for you to move one of the devices farther apart form each other so the XBox see's only one? Also, since I've never set up an extended network, is it possible to give them each a different name?

Maybe you can hide the SSID of one of them so the XBox will only see one.
