When I've been watching flash videos I've been noticing some sort of a flicker in the video.

Anyone know what this is?

Here's a screen shot that I took of it.

is it a certain browser? are you talking about the dots everywhere? i know that happens when the gpu gets a bit to hot. is it the whole screen or just the video?

Yeah, the dots, only on the video.

It was happening in Safari and Chrome, I reinstalled Flash and repaired disk permissions, it seems to be fixed now.

Thanks for the reply!

Looks like artifacting. Many times that's a sign of a failing or overheating GPU. Though it appears you got it fixed by reinstalling flash.
