Greetings MR!

I have somewhat of a strange request. For a design project I am working on, I am going to re-skin an exisitng corporate website. However, I dont' want just any company's website. I am looking for "terrible, horrible, no good, very bad" web design. I am requesting links to the most hideous company websites on the web to date.

I know I can count on you to bring out the worst of the web.

Oh, and if you want, I can let MR see the project when complete. ;)

I'd recommend the following site for people looking for tips on how to design a good website. Sometimes, the best way to learn good design is to actually look at sh--- design.

Nonetheless, I feel you can greatly benefit from the site listed below. It covers all the aspects of bad design from pretentious BS to "mystery meat navigation."

Hope this helps.

Yes, I'm familiar with this site. Though I'm looking for a live site that I am going to reskin. This site has some, but I'm looking for the worst of the worst.

I'll provide more clarification. I am a Graphic Design student, and the reasoning provided in my first post is an assignment that I have been given. I'm not so much looking to find *how* to fix poor design, just an example that I can "fix".

Although I haven't been there in a while, I thought it does link to current/active sites. But if you're looking for the worst of the worst, you wanna do a little cyber-slummin', etc., I'll see what I can find.

edit: Sorry I didn't read your post more carefully.

It just so happens I was looking for this a few weeks ago.

They were consistently awful:

http://www.1st-4.org/

http://a1-4u.co.uk/ (my personal favourite)

http://www.learnerdriving.com/

http://www.kingston.clara.net/ (mm, classy!)

Oh, and for your viewing pleasure, though totally unrelated: the worst website on the internet.

yugh!

I'm no expert, but I think these were all made with some sort of helper applications... maybe a good thing to not do is use one of those apps without some sense of what you really want to convey

IMHO
