WTB: Apple laptop
I would like to buy an apple laptop that can run osx ATLEAST 10.2 fairly well. I dont know which apple laptop I want so lets just see what you guys got.
I dont want anything too pricey like an 1.33ghz powerbook.

What do you want? An iBook suits your needs based on that post - 12" or 14", starting at 1,000.

$1000 is still too high for me I want nothing more expensive then $600. An iBook clamshell would be nice or an old tiBook or a g3 powerbook.

I've got a Firewire Pismo, It's not in "like new" condition, but it runs Mac OS 9 fine, I'm pretty sure it can run 10.2 as well. I've got plenty of upgrades for it that I plan on installing.
email me if you're interested. --LL |

I'd say it's better to spring a few extra $s and get a high-end 12in. iBook (or Powerbook, depending on what you are really looking at). That way you don't have to worry about dealing with 3rd party refurbishers or anything like that. Getting a mid-grade hard drive, combo or super drive, bluetooth...you can get it for about $1,099, about.
