When ya got it, flaunt it, I guess. I'm surprised *not* to see rHype, although from what I saw, it needs to be fleshed out.

I guess IBM is kinda getting into this whole "open-source" thing like edesignuk posted a while back, aren't they?

IBM's Java compilers are the results of quite a lot of back-room research into Java implementation issues, particularly performance. For example, they have tried many variations on the algorithms that determine when to compile code rather than interpreting it each time.

That's one reason I'm glad to see IBM sharing some of its projects with the world.

I imagine you're referring to the IBM puts cash behind Linux push thread.

Yes. And I didn't realize that it was you, Doctor Q, with the avatar change!

I guess I should have known by the neat, orderly, and linked post... but still. Threw me off by quite a bit!

Facts about my new avatar: No purchase necessary. Avatar subject to official rules. Avatar ends 4/11/05, must be viewed by 4/11/05. Must be 13 or older and a legal resident to view. Avatar viewing limit: 10 times per day.

I probably should have doctored one of Apple's images, like this one, but it was more fun to photograph one of my real caps and add a few more Qs. The one I used had two real Qs.

What happens if I exceed my limit? I think I just did.
Where are these official rules? Are there legal repercussions for not following them?
What if, while viewing it, someone who does not meet the age requirements sees it?

Is 'doctoring' your idea of a pun?

Why, Mechcozmo, I believe you are being silly in an important current event thread. Shame shame.
