I recently changed HDD and lost all I had on the other.
But I had iLife '09 on that the previous HDD. And we also have iLife '09 on an iMac we have. Can I copy that iLife '09 to my MacBook from iMac?

I wouldn't think of this as illigally, becouse I have paid for it and stuff like that. I tried to just copy and paste, but it didnt work...

Use the discs that came with your Mac (the one you changed the HDD of) to reinstall iLife.

Replacement DVDs can be purchased from Apple. Simply contact AppleCare and indicate you are looking to purchase install DVDs for your computer (assuming it shipped with iLife '09) or just an iLife '09 disc. The price should not exceed $16 U.S. per disc.

I messaged them on Twitter, and they said they didn't give out/sell those CD's! :(

I was not aware AppleCare had a Twitter account. How about you call and talk to someone instead?
