Buying Macbook Air in US vs UK

I'm studying abroad next month and need a new computer; therefore, I was wondering whether it would be better/cheaper to purchase the laptop here in the US or in the UK.

Thanks!

If you currently live in the US then it'll be cheaper to buy it before you go. The conversion rate is terrible going USD>GBP.

Macs are way cheaper in the US vs UK.

Stuff in general is, whenever we visit we usually pick up some stuff for family here (UK) because it's cheaper there.

I assume you're sticking to the US App Store etc as well so the US Back 2 School Giftcard will be more beneficial too.

Yes it does.

Add that to the base price being more expensive as well.
