Reformat Powermac G4

I need help! I just bought a used G4 and want to erase the hard drive and do a clean install of panther and reformat the comp to be my computer not the previous owners. How do I do this with the least amount of pain?

Insert CD/DVD, Reboot holding C, Choose Clean Install.
