I want to get an old G3 iMac running to a TV... cheaply. It has VGA out, but does NOT support an Apple TV-out cable like modern Macs do.

VGA to NTSC convertors seem to be scarce these days... any models I can trust for a decent price?

Thanks for any recommendations!

I use a scan converter for a similar task. They cost around $50-200, depending on resolution and other such bells-and-whistles. Mine has a VGA pass-through, a composite and s-video out. Output is 800x600. You can find better or worse depending on your needs/budget.

Hope this helps.

Cool--that's what I'm after. I'm shopping on the cheap end... even 640x480 would do. Cheapest I've found is $90, and the brand was an unknown to me. That beats over $100 last time I looked, but $50 would sure be nice!
