Wake from sleep with trackpad DP2

I can't seem to wake my 2010 15" MBP from sleep with the trackpad using Lion DP2. I have to press the keypad.

Anyone else having the same problem? Is this normal? Any fixes?

I have always found it works better to use the space bar than the trackpad, but that's just my experience.

A tap of the trackpad wakes mine. A fix would be to press the keyboard like you have found out and file a bug report.

Sorry to disappoint you, but "wake with trackpad" will not be possible in Lion anymore (at least, it's not meant to be). Why? Simply because the new iTunes screen saver's functions require trackpad interaction.

So no, it's not a bug.

He said wake from sleep. When a computer sleeps there is no screen saver, and indeed my lion install wakes from sleep when I press the trackpad, so if his does not that suggests a bug on his or my end at the vary least.

Never tried to wake computer from sleep with trackpad. As for display sleep, at the risk of getting nit-picky, a swipe trackpad to wake from sleep used to work regularly, whereas now only a tap works if the display has been to sleep for longer than 10 seconds. The horror! Tho must admit to some minor change-aversion until I figured it out.

That, and SMB file sharing on ATV with XBMC didn't work. Running a Playback server in the background for $15 to allow UPnP streaming fixed flawlessly for now. Major change-aversion here, tho the fix was simple enough.
