On the same note. What's the difference between disabling it and not using it?

Multitasking would be a lot better if it was limited to 6-8 apps. Does anyone really scroll three screens back to relaunch an app? I did a little experiment and I was able to get over 40 apps going on the dock. I don't klnow what the upper limit is but it seems really dumb to have so many going.

Unless you're jailbroken and have disabled multitasking or are on an older iDevice that doesn't support it, iOS is multitasking whether or not you use the multitasking bar.Is it just me that hardly ever uses multi-tasking? I get why I'd use it in theory. In practice however, my instinct is to just click the home button rather than open the multi-tasking thing and change apps that way.
