Custom Boot Panels

Just customised mine after reading this how-to that was posted in another thread somewhere.

Mine is a simple change, didn't go OTT with it, but I think it looks cool. So let's see any you've done, or the results of what you do after reading this

(Leave in PDF format, makes it easy for others to use your file if they wanted to )

jsw just did, albeit with a suboptimal picture of Keira, IMO.

The current 'tar would make a nice one!

OK, well, this wasn't intended to be another Keira associated thread...but if you're gonna do it guys, at least do a good job of it

I still wanna see what any of you come up with on a serious level, get your thinking caps on!

Download PDF (too big to attach ) I've tried it, and it actually looks pretty slick

Nice. See, I didn't want to do the work involved in making a good Keira one, just wanted to goad you into doing it. I see my plan has succeeded.

It's done differently. It's a tif and it goes in here: /System/Library/CoreServices/SecurityAgent/Contents/Resources

(Had to zip it to attach).

This guide tells you how to do it. It looks a lot more complex though - I can just imagine myself ringing Apple Tech Support and explaining how I locked myself out of the computer .
