IPAD2 Bought in USA ( with ATT/Verizon) - can it be used outisde of USA?

Hi there...anyone knows if the ipad2 3G version can be used with other service providers outside USA. Can u just plug in a micro SIM from other service provider in another country?

As Verizon is CDMA, and most of the rest of the world uses GSM (like AT&T), no. This is why all the scalpers buy the GSM/AT&T versions.

The AT&T model can be, the Verizon one doesn't have a sim slot.

If you have a phone with wifi tethering (Androidtether, Joikuspot or Personal Hotspot) you can use your phone as a 3G to Wifi hotspot and then use the Wifi of your iPad to connect to your personal hotspot.
