How do I completely erase an ipod Touch?
I would like to completely erase and restore my iPod. I've jailbroken my iPod with the 4.1 Greenpois0n and then later to the 4.3.1 Redsnow. I've restored my iPod with iTunes but I feel that some files from the jailbreak are still lurking in my iPod.
How would I go about deleting all the files and getting my iPod back to its original factory settings? I do not want any trace of the iPod being jailbroken. Thank you. |

Boot into DFU and restore through iTunes. A non-DFU restore is probably satisfactory but using DFU won't hurt
![]() Also, don't restore from backup because that can transfer "strange" files back onto the device. |
