Ive got an iBook G3 800 i could trade ya for your powerbook if you would like...

The HDD is the stock 30gb'er and it only has 384MB of ram now. Due to a logicboard replacement i took out the Travelstar, and my sister needed more ram for her iBook for Photoshop so we did a swap. But yeah.. give it some thought if you like.

I will put some thought to it. I was thinking more along the line of a higher speed processor if I moved down to an iBook, but I will put it to thought.

I have a PowerMac I am willing to trade. The processor is the same speed, but the internals are far from. Here are the specs:

G4 500mhz
Radeon 8500 Pro (64MB DDR)
768MB RAM
SuperDrive
Zip Drive (built-in)
2x32GB Hard Drives

Let me know if you are interested.

question for the seller:

what brand is the 80GB HD in the external box? what brand/model is the box? and does it have a 2mb or 8mb cache?

To answer two questions at once:

If I go with a desktop, I am looking more for a mini (already have a G5). As for the External Drive, it's a WD 7200 RPM Drive (8MB). I believe the manufacturer of the box is Inspire, but I could be entirely off on that. The model number is NSP-511UE. I have replaced the internal fan, as the old one made too much noise. The new fan is very quiet.
