Anything else like liveprofile in the app store for iPad?

I recently downloaded liveprofile for my iPhone and synced it into my iPad without realizing, but decided to give it a shot and see if it works. To my surprise, it actually did. Since it uses the pin rather than a phone number it can still send messages to people's phones which is pretty killer. Got me wondering though, has anybody found anything that's actually made for the iPad that can do this? The app itself is kinda ugly and in 2x mode looks even worse and on top of that, won't rotate into portrait for typing. So yeah, anybody know of anything similar and perhaps iPad compatible?
