Ok, so right now I have an iMac with a 320gb internal drive and a 1tb USB external that I use for both media storage and Time Machine. (it's in 2 partitions)

I just bought an 2x1tb RAID setup and I'm not really sure how I should set it up (0, 1, or individual discs).

Right now I'm kind of leaning towards keeping my 1tb usb external for Time Machine (in 1 1tb partition), and using the RAID external as a RAID 1 (mirroring) of the 2 1tb discs so I have live backups of all my media (ripped TV shows/movies, music, photos, etc) in case of any disc failure.

Any other suggestions?

RAID 1. Can't go wrong. Any other just sucks regardless of the parity. I am in the process of trying to save a RAID 5 Array (5 SAS Drives) that were supposed to be self rebuilding. Long story short. RAID 1 is the only RAID...
