I am trying to upgrade my RAM by max 512MB

I am currently using the first of the G4 dome models at 800mhz. My 256RAM went off the wall so I am running off an old 128 from my old PC that luckily worked, which as you know is far far far too slow. I have already bought a PC133 peice of 512 that doesn't work, and even the replacement doesn't work. I can't find any info on the ram options other than i need, PC133, 512MB.

However, I did find info on SO DIMM ram that should fit on my base socket, however does anyone know how many pins this is, Im reckoning 144pin. I need to make sure because I have found local cheapish prices and cheaper prices that mean long distance delivery, so I want reliable advice so I don't have to return the product.

thanks

If you need ram, go to http://www.crucial.com and they have a great tool where you use the drop down menu's to pick your mac, and then crucial.com tells you what ram they have for your particular mac. Its a great option, and crucial.com are really cheap compared to the macwarehouses.

if u are in the UK try http://www.crucial.com/uk
