I just got my new 2.0 GHz i7 15" MBP in the mail yesterday and so far, its extraordinary. I've really only had one concern, that at boot, kernel_task is using about 400 MB of Real Memory and about 180 MB of Virtual Memory. After running for a day, the Real Memory usage hits about 500 MB while Virtual Memory stays the same. On my late 2008 unibody Macbook it starts up with kernel_task using about 110 MB of Real Memory and barely increases. Is something wrong or is this common with the new Macbooks?

Thanks
