Hi all... I need some advice. I'm looking for an inexpensive solution for my design studio (6 designers). I need a dedicated computer to be share by just our scanner and our Epson 9600. That's it - no design will be done on this machine. We print big files to the Epson - 500mb+ at times. I was gonna go with either an eMac 1.25 with 1gb of Ram, or a Mac Mini with 1gb. I do already have a monitor, but I can use it elsewhere if I get the eMac. Because it costs $300+ to have Apple bring the Mini up to a gig of RAM, it winds up costing almost the same as the eMac with a gig. Any thoughts on which might work the best with the big files on the Epson? We're using a old Cube now, but it's very slow.
