Ok so I have a WINDOWS based laptop. I wanted to know though if it was possible for me to hook my mac mini up to the laptop and use it as the screen for the mac mini? If thats possible how do I do it?

Unless somehow you have video in on your x86 lappy, there is no way it will work. I have never seen a connector to allow it.

No.

This is a surprisingly common question both here and on Usenet 🙂

The closest thing you can do is use a working laptop as a VNC or Remote Desktop connection.

Hmmm...

I really don't understand why it is so common...it seems perfectly clear to me that laptops have no video in port...nor do the screens detach from the base.
