Hi all,
The xeons, are they overclockeable?

As a processor, they are definitely overclockable placed on the right motherboard. The Mac Pro however gives you no simple supported way of overclocking like many PC boards do.

There is a piece of software out there by ZDNet that will allow earlier models (2006 & 2008 I believe) to be overclocked, but there are some negative side effects from what I've read.
