Wirelessly projecting your iPad 2 screen on your TV, Can it be done?

Can you wirelessly project your iPad 2 screen onto a TV? (LED Flat-Screen)
Like so you can watch movies (w/ sound) and surf the web, stuff like that. So basically just mirroring your iPad screen onto your TV.

A mirrored display, wirelessly? No. However for watching movies and videos and viewing photos, you can you AirPlay if you have an AppleTV attached to the TV.
 
What about Sound....

If I have my TV hooked up to a sound-bar w/ Sub/receiver how would i set the sound-up?
