I just ordered one from the Apple Store and was wondering what peoples experience with it has been like. One thing I didn't quite understand is how it's powered, is it powered by USB or does it use it's own power pack? Thanks in advance!

Anyone use the Apple Keyboard w/ the iPad Dock?

I bought a cord extender so I could use it in the landscape mode. Otherwise, you're stuck with portrait only, unless that's the only position you'll need it. Wireless keyboard is probably in my future.

Me too, I use an Apple BT keyboard. I was not sure if in portrait mode the mechanical stress for the port connector is too high. Plus no landscape which I like for email and mind mapping or Citrix
