Which will give me better performance? I've seen both in the refurb section for the same price, and I'm wondering which would be the better buy.
 
Obviously it would depend on a bit on what you were doing, as the GPU is still faster on the 2010 13 inch mbp (which I assume you mean since the ones you listed are 13inchers)

depending on your uses. the i5 will be considerably faster at processor intensive activities.

i'd personally go for the i5, but again, my uses dictate that I have a better CPU
 
Depending on how much of a discount the B2S sale is, I'll either go with the 13' i5 or i7.
 
What about when the c2d is equipped with a 128gb ssd? I noticed it in the refurb shop for cheaper than the i5.
