Hi. I have the first gen new unibody macbook pro from 2 years ago. Warranty expired and no apple care.
Out of nowhere the keyboard and trackpad don't work. Whenever I press any key I get the *isnttt* sound like I'm pressing something that I shouldn't be. Cursor moves around on the trackpad but when I try to click nothing happens.
USB keyboard and mouse work just fine.
If I do a clean install do you think these issues would be fixed? How much would it cost to fix at the apple store?
