Can you arrange order of events in Photo?

I imported several events from iPhoto on iMac to iPad, via iTunes.

The order is a mess, it's not by time or alphabetical event name.
Can this be rearranged? I thought I could simply "tap hold and drag", but no.

It would be pretty stupid of Apple if they don't allow you to arrange events??

I mean, the possible way is to sync event one by one, it seems to list events with order of being imported.
But if you import multiple events at one sync, it just randomly arranges it.
