iPad 2 cannot connect to iTunes (app store) everything elese works fine.

Today I purchased my first iPad however I cannot connect to the app store though my iPhone can I tried a restart restore and signing out of my account now it won't let me sign in is anyone elese having this issue? 😕

Also is it normal for the battery to drop to 50% with maybe a half hour of web browsing and 3-5 hours in standby? I'm starting to think I got a bad one.

It could be possible that you got a bad battery. When you plug the Ipad into iTunes, are you using the cable that came WITH the ipad or from another device? Try the ipad's if you haven't, please report if it does not work.

I used the one that came with it and I tested the cord on my iPhone it worked fine the battery seems ok today 98% after 5 hours standby with some YouTube and safari just needed overnight charge still no iTunes or app store access though.
