My home folder (admin)'s icon looks like my applications folder?

Its not causing any problems, the files are correct, It USED to look normal but now it does not for some reason. Any way to change it back? Thanks!

When you right-click your home folder and "get info", what is in preview?

Have you toggled between folder and stack view in the dock?

Haha yes that worked, there must have been something wrong before as well because I just noticed that the icon you see now (as the "applications" icon) used to be the "desktop" folder icon. 🙂 I guess this will be the best.

From the look of your desktop I'd say you may have a mix-up with Candybar or the likes. Check any programs you have used to change icons and relaunch your dock, or try restarting.

EDIT: Nevermind. Glad it's fixed! 🙂

Thanks. Worked for me, as well.

Can't believe how long I spent stressing that my application folder had an icon for 1Password app on it. OCD is tough thing. Thanks Repo for the answer. Ahhhh, now I can finally relax.
