new car/ipod interfaces

anyone heard anymore about connectivity with other models than BMW's? there was that announcement a couple months ago by mr jobs but i haven't heard anything in the media since...

well some car recievers(like mine which is still stock) have a AUX port built in them them and you can plug the ipod in to that. not as good as a BMW one but it does keep everyting digital. I still want something where I could fold down the face plate. slide my ipod in then put the face plate back up and be able to control it from the controls on the face plate and I would like it to still able able to play CDs

Edit: of course there are only links for BMW, Mercedes, and Volvo right now -- but a bunch of other car logos.

connection to the mini's have been referenced in the apple press release but on the bmw website, there is no love for the mini on that site...

anyone?
