Hi, I've been looking through the posts in the forum and haven't really found the answer I need. I'm using Word 2008 on my macbook pro to write my thesis as it gives the citations function, but I keep having problems with it.

When I insert images, sometimes it cuts off a part of the image on the side, or it will randomly bump the image down two pages. I seem to have images and figures bouncing all over my document and I can't get them to stay in the right place. Inserting another image (sometimes) causes the ones I got in there to move around. And it often won't let me move the images again.

I have tried changing the inline rules for the images, and could manually place them on top of the text with space behind them with returns, but on a 200 page document, that would be no fun. Any suggestions as to where the problem may lie?
