Could anyone with Lion confirm this? I'm asking because Apple do not mention OpenGL in the latest feature list of Lion. Thanks in advance.

It is...kind of. In Lion, there are two separate and parallel sets of OpenGL pipelines--one is the same as Snow Leo (OGL 2.1 + benefits), the other is known as the "forward context API" and that is full, honest OGL3.2. So in order to use OpenGL 3.0-level functions, apps will have to be recompiled for 10.7 only (because Lion uses its own version of XCode).
