RAM is PC 133. I know it is possible to get other powerbooks possibly cheaper on ebay but they aren't going to have the specs as this, nor will they be even close to the condition I have maintained this one. Personally I would prefer one that has been taken care of.

i think you misread the post you're responding too, I believe KingCrowning is trying to tell you that if you want to get anywhere near $1050 eBay is the place to go because the market here might not pay this much. Computers sell for more on eBay than they do here partially because the buyer base is less educated on current macintosh values .... I have to agree considering that I could only get $1100 for my 12" with superdrive but good luck

My question is whether you will deliver them with the Powerbook.

I'm guessing that if you were able to only get $1100 for your 12" is because it had less RAM and a smaller and possibly slower HD. When upgrading the RAM/HD less than 2 months ago, the upgrade alone was over $400. However, the upgrade also makes a world of difference when using OSX.

yeah, thats what i meant, it'll be hard to get that much here, but worth a try, and look here: http://www.baucomcomputers.com/ look at the 12", yes it has less RAM ($300 upgrade) and less HD (~$200) but it's got way more features, and it's still $200 less than yours, and theirs are in great shape...

I guess I'm not really sure what you mean by "way more features"...yes it is a little faster, more VRAM, and had bluetooth. However, the 15" titanium has all the same ports, has an iR port, faster HD, more RAM, Airtport card and over 55% more display real estate. Also, how do you know what shape they are in? Will they send you photos?

I found baumcomputes a pain to deal with, I emailed him once, no reply, emailed again a week later, he replied, then i asked another question, no reply, sent another email a few days later and nothing. It was like he didnt want to make money.

will you sell some of the RAM?

they will send you pics, they have an actual storefront in Oregon and they'll do whatever you need to acomadate you, and they can upgrade anything for you upon request, don't try and compete with a store, an individual seller will never wil, but i'm just saying i think you might be expecting a little much when you can buy a new iBook for $900, and thats got an almost 4x as fast processor

iBook for $900 that has almost a processor 4x?...that would mean almost 2GHz G4....The fastest they make is 1.67 now and that would be a 3.34x gain. For $1000 you can get the lowest ibook which is a 1.2 Ghz. That is a 2.4x gain. But as we all know there is a dramatic difference in architecture between the 2 portables and 2.4x difference in processor speed does not at all equal 2.4x real world speed. I guess I wouldn't ever get an iBook because I don't like to get the low end stuff when I buy new. Remember, this was $3500 new.
