A warm greeting to you all,
I am thinking of getting an external LaCie P5 Porsche 16x DVD±RW Double Layer FireWire drive for my iMac G5, but I need to know that it will also work on my Pismo 500MHz PowerBook. All the specs are right, except for the G4 500MHz requirement. iWork said something similar, and it works great on the Pismo, but that was a software issue. This is hardware. There's a delay with the iMac G5 (it's STILL coming, let's hope I get the updated version expected in early April) and I need to back up my files on the Pismo as well as burn some video DVDs for my folks. Have any of you had any experience with this issue? Enlighten me with your copious knowledge!
