Skyfire Browser users, some questions...

it has such mixed reviews in the app store from "omg it's the most amazing thing every, I can watch all flash videos now" to "what a piece of crap, doesn't even play flash videos. This is a scam" so I don't know what to believe.

how well does it play flash videos in
youtube desktop site (I hate the ios youtube app)
mysoju.com
kimchidrama.net
dailymotion

also the popular adult sites that I'm sure all the fellas know about but I'm not going to mention...

It does a decent job, but nowhere near what a browser with flash built into it does. If you've ever used one of those RDP programs where you can control your desktop imaging opening a browser window inside the program and browsing like that, it's the best way to describe it. Watching videos is a pain because you have to download them first, but after they are downloaded they actually play very nicely and full screen. Contrast that with iswifter which is actually a much nicer browser and it directly streams the video, but because of this the quality is less and it seems to stutter or lose connection often.

Neither is a great solution, but IMO if you are playing longer videos and don't mind waiting get Skyfire, if you are browsing and playing much shorter videos but more often get iswifter. Either way though they do work but be prepared to be annoyed.

on my iphone 3g, skyfire works by streaming, and you carnt fast forward. it also stutters, when on wifi (fast connection) due to poor video capabilities of the iphone 3g (skyfire calculates greater video capabilities than possible)
