Anyone else experiencing this?

Seems to crash every few minutes.
Just shuts down then I'll open it and it goes back to the same page.

I've cleared it out, reset settings and still the same.

If it keeps happening maybe I'll try reinstalling.

Not sure what your question is; are you a developer running iOS5?

Cheers, Macjim.

I reloaded and set up as a new iPad. Seems better, perhaps restoring is not the way to go on these things, we'll we will see how it performs now, so far so good.

I think you should expect many 3rd party apps to remain broken in iOS 5 until the fall when the developers update them for the masses.

Why in the mobile OS world do the updates break apps?

In the desktop OS world, we usually don't have to update our softwares. Are the people expecting to update their software after installing OS X Lion? No, for 99% of them.

Very good question Danoc, I to would like to know the answer to this.

Also, I wish apple would include the stock apps in the iTunes app store, this way they could add incremental updates (such as tabbed browsing for example) much more regularly. At present, waiting a year for them to be updated is a bit much. Wishful thinking I know.

Cheers

Phil

I almost got pissed. Thinking that I just didn't get the update yet. Sorry I'm late lol

Its a Beta file a report and move on to the next beta release when it comes out, the whole Idea of releasing betas is to check for crashs and how well your apps work with the new code.

Safari crashing iPad 2 iOS 5

I'm having the same problem on iPad 2 with iOS 5. Safari opens to white screen but when you touch any part of the screen it crashes down to the iPad home screen. I closed the app, cleared the cache, did a hardware restart, etc. No change. All other apps are working fine, including those accessing the Internet via either wi-fi or 3G. This is a real mystery.

Since installing iOS 5, I've had more app crashes than ever before, so roll on the next update.

Me too. I have to say Apple handles crashes very elegantly. But they are crashes nonetheless. And there is nothing we can do but wait for the next update?

Very often, crashes here as well.

Links in this forum also do not open.

Did anyone report these issues in testing?
