I was blown away when Apple intro'd Garageband for IPad earlier this year. And they've recently released a significant update.

But I've always felt that Apple's own Support for this fabulous App was lacking. That the process of creating a song was just a little too complicated for the average user to figure out via trial-and-error.

Fortunately, a new book by Robert Brock provides easily-understood instructions and guides for creating music with Garageband. It's just 99 cents - which makes it one of the best deals in Apple's bookstore. And at about 80 pages its brief enough for you to get the information you need quickly.

Garageband for iPad - Creating Songs with your Portable Music Studio

Its not going to turn you into Quincy Jones. But it will give you the tools and knowledge to start making listenable music with your iPad.
