battery life in dp4

I just installed dp4 on my 2011 MBP. Seems to be working pretty well so far, except battery life is pretty rough. After a full charge with hardly nothing running it shows 2:30 instead of the normal 7. I left spotlight do all it indexing, and nothing is really using any cpu cycles. I know its just a beta, so I can't expect everything to work perfect, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something basic.

had the same experience on my 2010 mpb 13". but not quite as dramatic... dropped from 7-8 hours to about 4 hours. was kinda disturbing because when using dp3, battery life increased to almost greater than 7-8. so i've wiped my drive and gone back down to SL 10.6.7 and will just wait for the final version in july.

by any chance, are you using a momentus xt hard drive?
