My 2008 iMac's logic board crashed, so I salvaged the Superdrive (an Optiarc AD-5630A), thinking that I could put it into an enclosure and use it as a spare external optical DVD RW drive. But I'm having a hard time finding the right enclosure for it. Does anyone have a suggestion what I should use? Thanks.

meh. cases are probably $30 if you can find one.
you could build a full size 5.25" Firewire DVD for $35.
Heres a FW case for $10. total steal.

wrong connector
So I have a standard drive enclosure that I thought would work

but the connectors are like those in your link -- and the Optiarc Superdrive i have here in my hand has a single much smaller input socket. Am I missing some kind of connector?
