Twitter notification on both iphone and ipad

My twitter notifications usually get pushed to one of my devices, seemingly at random. Which is obviously not ideal.

Is this normal?

Good luck! FYI Facebook notifications are always flaky so if that's your issue keep that in mind.

Im quite new to Twitter, and i'm really surprised it has gotten as popular as it has.... its very difficult to use and understand to be honest.

I want to write my friend a message, so I open a new tweet and put '@(then their first letter).... and it pulls up a short list, but not including any of my friends..... So I go to find them in people i'm following, but thats not as easy as it should be.

Plus the apps on iphone and ipad don't sync... so I get re-notified about mentions and messages again when I change devices.

But hey ho... god loves a trier!

Would you recommend any other apps other than the official one?

i use echofon on both and they have a setting to sync between ipad/iphone/mac, works fairly well and notifications work consistently
