My sister is using an unlocked iPhone 3G on iOS 4.0, jailbroken via redsn0w. I did that jailbreak/unlock myself, but found it difficult at the time to find information on exactly what steps to take, and am having even more trouble now figuring out how to upgrade her to at least 4.2 and preferably 4.3.x in order to improve the performance. Can someone give me a step-by-step guide? Please don't just say to Google it, because I've tried that and have a hard time understanding things from the iPhone Dev Team, etc, and being able to find specifics on that model phone. I don't want to risk losing the ability to unlock this phone in the process, because then it's just a dead weight to her.
