Reformatting a HD w/ Disk Utility...

I'm taking a HD that i have in my g4 and reformatting for use in an xbox. Should i reformat it with a MS-DOS file system? I'm basically looking to reformat it to the out of the box settings. It is a IBM Deskstar 120 gig drive.
