I trying to create a 3d wall like the one below:

I would like to do this without OpenGL mainly because I don't know it. How can I go about doing this? I need to be able to display an NSView in each of the panes in the wall.
Any ideas? I saw a concept similar to this at WWDC a couple years ago, but no source code was released as far as I know. The wall needs the ability to be moved around as well.
