I bought an iPod Nano 1G from my local secondhand shop and everything was working. I then installed Rockbox and that was working too but I wanted to clear the hard drive of all the music. On Windows 7 I selected the drive and selected format. i selected FAT32 and quick format but once it was complete I get a permanent white screen with the the words "PANIC mount:0" My iPod Nano no longer mounts and isn't seen by iTunes anymore. is there a fix for this?

PS I know I should of used of used iTunes to reformat it but because rockbox was on it iTunes didn't work anyway.
