Okay, so here's my problem. I have a 3G iPod which I have always charged/synced with a Firewire cable. My brother got a 4G iPod for Christmas, which came with both a USB 2.0 and Firewire cable. Since he does not have USB 2.0 and I do, I figured I'd take it to have another means of charging/syncing when my lone Firewire port is occupied. So I tried it out today, and my iPod won't charge. It will sync, but it won't charge. Is the charge-over-USB-2.0 feature only available for 4G iPods?
